we love mnemonics
As the site is closing in on the 300 mnemonics milestone it is wonderful to know that we are helping thousands save time and remember the facts in medicine precisely. These amazing little packs of information have made many a topic easier to learn and recollect. Thats why each mnemonic is special and has a tag of good karma attached to it.
Many mnemonics at the Medical mnemonics affiliate may be restructured and improved till the limits of our imagination. We will do that on the go. The impression created is long lasting and definitely worth the effort. I thank all the users who have contributed mnemonics for your support. Without your inputs LifeHugger would not have been so commendable. I thank the Editors for helping shape LifeHugger.com and Neema Azeez for being truly optimistic about the Medical mnemonics affiliate.
Thank you.

funds
As of now the website receives no foreign funding. Keeping the expenses at the minimum by cutting on the 'unnecessary' and 'not so necessary' tasks helps us to keep a tab on the expenditure.
Any start-up website will require significant financial support for maintenance and enhancement. We have been pondering over the many possible ways to meet the expenses of running lifehugger.com and how other popular start-ups did it. There are many popular methods around. We will be looking into those and other sponshorship options when it needs to be done.

web
Just a thought on the web in the coming years.
The web is growing and expanding as it has always been. There is lot of good information out there. Some of which are dynamic and updated like the wikis and some that just became history. People participation is what makes or breaks these social publishing websites. The websites which allow its audience to control and edit its pages and has an efficient moderation cum governance system will remain in vogue.
And as the web grows more people are surfacing to share content through great websites which provide great tools that make the experience amazing. And, it is all possible with few taps of the fingertip. This way, the content published by an internet citizen in his lifetime is going to be plenty. Thus, this generation and that follows will have progressively more content to share with their friends and the world.
As this evolves more people may feel the need for their own unique space on the web. And, 5 years from now i believe many of the active publishers will be having own websites to publish content. The other services which we use today (social neworks, email clients, photo sharing sites etc) will be coming up with apps to embed their content and integrate within these personal websites; many have already.
